When our friend & cancer fighter, David, completed his radiation treatment yesterday(!), he rang the Bell, surrounded by some members of our team at the Wake Forest chapter, there for support. We then surprised David with dozens of chicken biscuits, his favorite food, and spent time sharing cancer-related stories afterward to celebrate. What a special new tradition for TaketheFight: Bells & Biscuits, in David’s honor. When our other cancer-fighters complete their radiation treatments, we’ll be there. And we’ll bring the biscuits. We’ve got your back. While the cancer center is closed today (Sunday)–while our patients are spending time with their families–our corps of Strategists will be on-site working together on their patients’ behalf, bettering their strategies & mitigating patient hardships during our inaugural Multi-disciplinary Committee (MDC) meeting. Cancer doesn’t take a break, and neither do we. #gotyourback #MDC

This morning, we officially launch the Brain Division and begin actively working with brain cancer clients.  One of our best & brightest, Jason Green, will lead this challenging Division to TaketheFight to Cancer at Wake Forest Baptist.

The Melanoma Division of TaketheFight is the first to officially launch. As we speak, our Strategists will be working alongside the bravest Melanoma clients, training them to fight smarter and live longer. There goes a fighter. #blackribbonfist
